Step 1: Calculate the additive

Follow the instructions on your chosen herbicide, fertiliser or pesticide label to calculate the correct ratio of your additive.

Step 2: Fill the QuikMix™ bottle to 450mL

Fill the QuikMix™ bottle with your additive. If you are using a concentrate, follow the directions on the additive’s label, you may need to dilute the remainder of the 450mL bottle with water before use.

Step 3: Apply the mix

Use our chart to choose from the 8 different dilution levels to mix your additive with the steady water flow. Spray evenly across your lawn or garden.

HOW TO CALCULATE

Let’s say your product label specifies to dilute 30mL of the product into 9L of water.
Add 30mL of the product to your QuikMix™ Spray Gun bottle, then fill the remainder of the 450mL bottle with water.
Turn your dial to position 7.
Spray additive evenly across lawn or garden for 1min 35 seconds – this represents 9L of the solution being used.

Cheap quality material

I purchased this last week (Nov 24, 2023, as had a flex day off work) from Nutrien Water in Joondalup WA. Used it for one day to apply wetting agent and liquid fertiliser to my lawn and it all worked great, thinking wow this is a fabulous product. UNTIL. I went to use it last night (1 Dec 2023) and as I was screwing the bottle on to the the plastic thread started to disintegrate and it all fell apart (I did NOT over tighten either). For a product not to last more than one use is appalling. And as Nutrien is only open Monday to Fridays (and I work 7am until 5pm, so it's closed by the time I finish), I do not know when I will get the time to go back and get a refund.
I have read in the thread that Holman have made changes to the product to correct this, but obviously not as they are still breaking. Maybe Holman should recall all of the ones out there and stock with this so called 'corrected' ones.

Very poor design and material

I brought 2 of these from Bunning, firstly the unit will not stand up on its own falls over unless us over half full.
The second problem is that the units fall over and they break where the bottle threads into the handle, it cracks and falls apart.
Very dissapointed, and would give a “0” if it was possible.
I’ve used many other Holman products and been happy with them

Hi Richard, sorry to hear you've had a poor experience with our QuikMix. As the spray gun is top-heavy, without liquid in the bottle it will fall over. The thread breaking can be the cause of over-tightening on the spray gun. We have since helped fix this issue in newer units of the QuikMix Spray Gun. Very Disappointing

Same as with all other comments about the cracking plastic cap and I've only used it 3 times.
My issue is where the liquid feeder tube pushes into the screw-on cap. It's all broken away making the unit totally useless. In the 2nd photo, there are also signs of stress cracking around the base where the bottle screws into the cap.
It'll be a case of returning it to Bunnings for a replacement but I reckon the same thing will happen again. What then, how many times will they replace it?
Obviously, there is a major issue with the type of plastic used for this component and it'll keep happening forever until Holman gets it sorted out.

We have since made changes to this product to improve its durability and this batch is now available at Bunnings. If you're able to receive an exchange from Bunnings, a new one should hold up better. Disappointing quality

Generally a good product, however similar to the reviews below, the collar where the bottle screws into cracked, so longevity of the product is poor.

Bit disappointed in the quality for the price I paid.

I love the concept of the product. It worked brilliantly until the screw top to the bottle cracked. I’ve only had it less than a year and it’s been well looked after. Perhaps a metal housing and detachable sprayer so you can screw on a hose attachment to click it into a hose line and distribute through a sprinkler. Also a model with a 1 lt tank.

Hi Janelle, we're sorry that the QuikMix is cracked! Sometimes over-tightening can cause the threads to break. If you still have your receipt, you should be able to receive a refund from Bunnings. We are currently in the process of developing a 1L bottle addition which should be available in Bunnings sometime this month! Thank you.

Great product but…

This is a great product but like most of the other reviews the thread housing cracked and broke. I hope this can be fixed in future models.

Poor quality build

Have had two and with three uses both have split at the male thread receiving the bottle

Last one tried glue on the split only to then find the dial just sheer off

When first using they are great but feel that they are disposables

nozzle cloggled

The nozzle has really fine holes and when get clogged there is no way to pull apart and cleanup.

To address the issue, we recommend soaking the head of the sprayer in a 50/50 vinegar and water solution or a mild CLR solution. This can help loosen any debris that may be causing the blockage. If this method doesn't resolve the problem, we suggest contacting our customer service team at support@holmanindustries.com.au. They will be able to provide further assistance and guidance.

In order to prevent future clogs, we advise flushing your QuikMix after each use. Once you have finished spraying your additive or emptied any remaining solution from the tank, fill it with water. Set the dial to level 8 and spray until the tank is completely empty. This will help ensure proper functioning of the nozzle.

Please improve the strength of the thread that attaches to the bottle

Nice concept however how about improving the strength of the thread that attaches to the bottle.
Quality control needs to be improved in this department.
A product that holds chemicals should have the highest priority of safety,this product requires full attention to improve its safety whilst being used.

Cracked thread

Like other reviews on here, thread cracked first use. Persisted with using a second time only to have the whole thread assembly break off in my hand.
Great idea, shame it isn’t a more solid construction where the threads are involved.
