Lithium battery hose reel spare part

So happy we got it but it wont charge.
It would of been so much better to have another charger in with it as chargers are all different and the one we have wont work with it

Unreliable

This battery/controller is a terribly unreliable product. It starts with being unable to intermittently retract the hose even though it's fully charged and therefore requiring repeated button presses to hopefully get it to start. This gets worse over time and eventually no amount of presses will get it to work. The only redeeming aspect of this product is that Holmans warranty is very good and a replacement can usually be obtained from either Bunnings or sent out by Holman. So keep your receipt and make a copy of it.

Faulty control pad

This is the second battery control unit I have purchased. The battery was ok but the control pad press buttons failed each time.

Faulty battery but Holman’s are mailing me a replacement

I received a battery for my hose reel
But after charging the blue lights stayed on constantly and flattened the battery again
I rang Holmans and they are replacing it on warranty
It was a hassle
But a replacement without argument was very good service

Good communication

Bought this battery as a spare for the motorised hose. Battery arrived promptly and communication from company was excellent. However, re the motorised hose, the hose itself is not that easy to pull out as you have to pull against the motor (there is no neutral gear). So, although the motor pulls the hose back in which is great it is too hard for an elderly person (which is what I got it for) to pull the hose out in the first place. Is a good idea but needs a redesign.
