The new battery works well and has solved my intermittent problem where the reel would only roll up about two metres at a time and eventually gave up completely. At first, I thought the problem was mechanical, however the battery did not seem to be charging. It was only when I opened up the battery and water came out, that lead to the printed circuit board being corroded that the problem was in the electronics. Two of the three cells would charge but the third was dead. Given the damage to the PC board and the fact that the battery cells are soldered in place, replacement was the only option. This led me to buy a Holeman cover as well as a new battery, I believe they should come with a cover. Hope I can get another three more years out of it.

Thankyou for your efficient service supplying this battery, even though the website said it was out of stock, I thought I would order it anyway and wait but it was delivered to my home within a couple of weeks.
