The battery was playing up one mouth after purchasing. That’s why I ordered a new battery. When it is working I have found the hose loops and twist. A hose needs looking at. The return speed is way too fast and has a few times tried to pull my hand in because the hose has twisted and I was trying to untwist it. I put the new battery on charge and put it in and nothing happened. Put back the origin battery and it worked. Every so often it plays up. I am still using it but I think you people could improve it from what it is. Who knows my luck I got the dud one. There you have it do what you want with the information. But I will not tell anyone to buying one. Have a nice day.

Overall a pleasant experience with regular updates on the delivery

I unfortunately need to replace these batteries approximately every 10 months due to them no longer retracting the hose even when fully charged.

Sent out quickly and was the right part.

Hoping this one lasts longer than the first. Installed and working brilliantly / like new. I've built a little cover to keep it out of the elements. If your hose reel is exposed to direct sun or rain, would recommend putting something over the button portion of it because it's really not built for extreme heat / cold / wet.

a simple, easy and relatively quick process of replacement
