8. CHECK FOR DRIPS OR LEAKS
It is really important to check that any taps or hose fittings around your home aren’t leaking. Leaks can slowly add up over time and waste more water than we are aware of. Our Grip ‘n’ Lock Hose Fittings are designed to never drip, leak or blow-off. Plus, our Double O-Ring feature them 5 x stronger than a standard hose fitting. Available in 12mm, 18mm, plastic and brass!
STOPS UNKNOWN WATER WASTAGE
BONUS TIP!
To give your soil a helping hand in retaining more moisture, we recommend adding a wetting agent to your lawn. A wetting agent allows your lawn to absorb more water, without using more than usual. A great water-saving hack for yourself and the environment too.
When watering your lawn and garden, we always recommend watering early in the morning, or late evenings after the sun has set. Watering at these times will help stop excess evaporation and give your soil a chance to soak up all the water. Especially important for your lawn as watering in hot weather can lead to your lawn burning. You can read more on keeping your lawn green in summer here.
