The Holman Replacement Solenoid 24Vac Coil - Product Code VH5030, was an easy replacement of a Coil that was failing and hence a repair to my garden Reticulation System. The Solenoid Coil is of a robust construction and being sealed using epoxy resin, is expected to have a long life - installed in the outdoor environment. The installation of the Coil Assembly, only needed to have the wires of the old Coil Cut, the old Coil could then be unscrewed from the Valve Body and the New Coil Assembly screwed in place and then it's two 24Vac wires connected.
I have Soldiered the Connections and sealed them to ensure a long fault free , Corrosion resistant connection.
