As businesses are now starting to open their doors, hygiene is crucial to maintain a healthy and safe environment. Follow our steps below to make your own PVC Hand Sanitiser Stand with only 4 PVC parts.
CREATING THE STAND
To make the base of the stand, use a 1m length of 90mm DWV pipe, then connect the 100mm Bolted Trap Screw to one end of the pipe. You can fill the pipe with something heavy, like small rocks or sand, to help give the stand more stability if you feel that it needs it. We recommend not to fill the pipe up completely, as this may inhibit your ability to move it if needed.
MAKING THE TOP
Stand the pipe upright and place the 100 x 90mm Internal Pipe Adaptor inside the pipe. Place the 80mm DWV Push On Cap (or 90mm Storm Push On Cap) upside down inside the Pipe Adaptor, it should just sit right on top. This is where the hand sanitiser will stand. All that is left now is to place your hand sanitiser bottle or dispenser inside of the Push On Cap.
