Warm White Bluetooth® Garden Light Controller

The power supply gave up after about a year and several of the lights have stopped working.Lights flash then stop working or go dim and stop. See the photo of one good light and the dim light.Lights not waterproof.

Had it for just over two years and the lights started to dim. Then the bluetooth packed up. Taking a look inside and its just a big box with a domestic AC power supply clipped and cable tied into place and a little IC. It's not really waterproof, and looks a good way to get yourself electrocuted if the box gets wet. There's also a button battery in the unit so, once that's used up, in lieu of a "proper" way to get access, its a disposable item. Probably why they only give a two year warranty.

I have set up two courtyards at home using two Warm White Controllers with a series of 3w spotlights. The system is very easy to set up after proper planning. This includes working out the correct length and type of extension cabling - there's two types, and large and small connectors. Careful attention needs to be given if you want to conceal the cabling, though, because the 4 Spotlight Value Pack has 3 spotlights with 3 metres of cabling + one with 1 metre (for the end), and that's a lot of cabling to roll up and hide when the lights are located close together. It would be great if Holman came up with a way of shortening excessive cabling with a DIY connector for both the large and small diameter cables where you could cut the cable short and connect a plug & socket. I ended up coiling the cabling up and burying it in PVC piping, but would have preferred it if there was a way of not doing that. Another suggestion is having the controllers in a black casing instead of the light grey which stands out too much. Still, I highly recommend this product. Prior to doing these two courtyards I did a third with a competitor product and that wasn't as good as Holman's system, IMO.

Absolutely looks amazing, wish there were more options for path lights than $50 a light, different option for decking so you don't need to pain around them. Would love you to use our house for design and photos!

Super simple to set up, I asked my hubby to set up some lighting around our Fernery and fish pond and he had it all complete in just one afternoon! The lights look absolutely beautiful too, and the dimmable setting is wonderful.
