Aspect Wireless Data Centre Weather Station

As a keen weatherperson I love the readings and accuracy of this station.
It is a set and leave machine just changing the batteries very few years.
Had it for at least 5 years and not really missed a beat.
A hail storm hit and broke one of the wind cups. It was so easy to order and have delivered. Will by this or a similar when this one departs the world.

This wireless Weather Station works great. I have had it for 5 years with no problems.
Yes the indoor unit batteries only last about 3 months, but the outdoor weather vain batteries last approx.,18 months.
Very Happy with this product that is at a great price, compared to others.

I am a slow learner. This is my second item & 3rd wind vane.
Batteries lasted less than 3 months (back up on the roof).
Wind vane cups disintegrated after 6 months.
Left outside (not functioning), one cable broke after 18 months.
Indoor battery screen & wifi connection very good.
Unit replaced by a DEVANTI, an excellent product with no problems.
PS 1 star rating as I couldn't give it any less

When my weather station failed after about three years, Holman diagnosed the problem over the phone, required part was defined and the order handled smoothly and efficiently. Now installed, and working perfectly

Good when it works. Rapidly uses up Alkaline batteries. New batteries inside and out but not communicating.

I have not had the problems described in some other reviews. Despite living near Bundaberg, where many products suffer due to our high UV, external plastic components have not failed. Battery life has been good, with two replacements in four years. Installation was easy.
The thermo-hygro sensor has now failed - but, on contacting the Holman Support line, I learned that a spare part is available, and has been ordered at a cost of $26, including delivery.
Yes, the LCD screen is not easy to read, but, overall, the unit has matched the performance of systems selling for much higher prices, which certainly justifies a five-star rating.
All this compares very well with what is available on the market.

Great wifi weather station. Instructions for assembly are easy to follow and directions specific. Initially I contacted the help desk and response and follow up was excellent. Good price too

I have just installed my third Aspect weather station in five years. Easy to install and connection with indoor unit worked well. This may be the last one though, unless Holman addresses the battery connections on the outdoor component. Our first two stations rusted and stopped working. Could not get going again so replaced because we like the functionality. We are on the coast where rust is an issue when components are not high quality. Agree with other comments that plastic is not long-lasting and spider invasion is a pain.

The inside display is very hard to read and goes through batteries at an unbelievable rate . Cheaper unit from Ebay is a better option. I thought I was buying quality but sadly no.

We have had this device just on 4 years, no major problems, a squirt of WD 40 occasional on wind direction and speed devices works well. One issue was it stopped measuring rain at one time, after investigation it was found a spider had made its home in rain gauge and spun a web around sea-saw device preventing it from tipping.. a bit more WD and mortein all was good. An external power supply for screen would assist enormously. Many of the issues of other reviewers should be addressed with careful setting up parameters. Handy device for the money.
