Scene Automation Example - Turn the Light off at Sunrise

Using your connected RGB Garden Light create an Automation scenario to turn the light/s off at sunrise.

Note: You need to allow the Holman Home app to know your location so it can calculate the correct sunrise time.

  1. From the Scene screen with Automation chosen, choose + (the top right hand corner)
  2. Scene screen

  3. Choose When the weather changes
  4. Create Scene screen

  5. Choose Sunset/Sunrise
  6. When the weather changes screen

  7. If you haven't already done so you will need to choose your location. The Current City should display the suburb of your location. Then choose Sunrise
  8. Sunset/Sunrise screen

  9. Change the Offset from Sunrise if required and then choose Save
  10. Offset screen

  11. Choose Next
  12. Sunset/Sunrise screen

  13. From the Then section choose +
  14. Set up task screen

  15. Choose Run the device
  16. Create Scene screen

  17. Choose RGB Garden Light
  18. All Devices screen

  19. Choose Switch
  20. Select Function screen

  21. Tick the OFF Switch and then choose Save
  22. Switch screen

  23. Choose Next
  24. Select Function screen

  25. Choose ... to give the scenario a better name
  26. Creat new Scene screen

  27. Tap in the default name and edit it. Pressing x to remove it allows for easier editing. Choose OK
  28. Edit Name screen

  29. Confirm everything is correct and then choose Save
  30. Creat new Scene screen

  31. Choose Yes to start using the new Automation
  32. No/Yes screen

  33. View all your Automation scenarios. Note it is possible to disable any Automation scenario using the toggle in the red box below
